This new cycleway runs from Robertsbridge Road, on the LCN29 route, along Wrythe Lane towards the hospital. It is clearly a welcome addition, even if both directions are on one side of the carriageway. See also in this blog.
It starts well, with a fair amount of space and nothing encumbering the cycle route.

In the middle, there are a few issues yet to solve.

And then it ends.

On a scale of good – better – best, it is getting there. Let’s hope TfL or Sutton Council move more of those lamp posts and finish the route down Wrythe Lane, towards Carshalton. Or at least they could develop a suitable treatment of the crossing to the hospital to allow people to cycle across safely.
