Get Sutton Cycling now has an email group all about issues concerning people who want to cycle and people who already cycle in the London Borough of Sutton.
Our main interest is sharing ideas and knowledge so as to encourage Sutton Council, local councillors and bodies such as schools and the various railway companies, to provide safe, well-designed cycling infrastructure suitable for the twenty-first century. This is particularly relevant as we come to terms with the reopening of shops, schools and workplaces when there are severe restrictions on public transport.
The homepage is https://groups.io/g/getsuttoncycling . Anyone can join. It is easy to sign up. You don’t need prior approval.
When someone sends the group a message, it is forwarded to all members who have opted into the group, either each message as it comes or in a summary, according to your preference as a member. Your own email address and contact details are not shared. Your first couple of posts will be moderated.
All current cyclists and future cyclists in the area can share their views as part of the local cycling community.
